Last Thursday, May 15, Cube Ventures officially launched Exit Accelerator at the Google Bogotá offices.

The event brought together 50 leaders from the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including founders, investors, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) experts, who shared experiences and advice on how to navigate this type of process.

THE VOICES OF THE PANEL

 

The panelists shared key learnings about the path to a successful exit.

Santiago Rojas Montoya (Cube Ventures) explained that it's not an end, but rather a strategy to scale impact and generate returns. Juan Franco (Smart Coin – Exit to Prosegur) highlighted the importance of maintaining contacts, while Liliana Rodríguez (Cube Ventures) emphasized the power of strategic alliances. Drawing on his global experience, Andrew Contreras (Red Hot – Exit in 2024) inspired the company with his growth story leading to a multi-million dollar exit, and Andrés Gutiérrez (Tpaga, Tappsi) recalled how he led one of the first major M&A deals in the region. Finally, César Castañeda (CredibanCo) provided a corporate perspective: what buyers are looking for and what factors can hinder a negotiation.

 

The event concluded with a networking session that allowed founders, investors, and attendees to engage in strategic conversations that could define the future of the ecosystem.
